It is impossible to determine how many stray dogs and cats live in the United States; estimates for cats alone range up to 70 million.

Approximately 7.6 million companion animals enter animal shelters nationwide every year. Of those, approximately 3.9 million are dogs and 3.4 million are cats.

Each year, approximately 2.7 million animals are euthanized (1.2 million dogs and 1.4 million cats).

The cost of spaying or neutering a pet is less than the cost of raising puppies or kittens for a year.

Giving Back

We are proud to support local animal shelters, rescues and animal advocacy groups. There are countless homeless animals in MN who need food, medical care and a warm, safe place to stay until they find their forever homes. Many of these groups rely solely on the generosity of donors and volunteers.

Our goal is to help these organizations succeed in their mission to save homeless and unwanted animals, place them in loving, permanent homes, an improve animal welfare laws to increase protections for these animals. We do this through monetary donations, volunteering, and raising awareness about these groups and animal welfare issues.
